7 years later and “pilotseye” are still the absolute best in cockpit videos. I just wonder if all Lufthansa pilots always use so “by the book” phraseology, or it’s just because “they are on camera”, just beautiful, never tired to watch it again.

Theyre an amazing team . I`d feel very safe flying on their plane.

Really excellent CRM. While there is a chain of command, the decision making/actions are shared/agreed. Even time for a little bit of sightseeing and some humour. Perfect leadership environment. And so nice of Cpt Frick to congratulate his co-pilot.

I am not a pilot but noticed the MD 11 doesn’t have much of a rudder and understand it’s a difficult plane to fly.

Never ceases to amaze how such a huge airliner manages to get off the ground.

I find these types of videos fascinating. The professionalism of the pilot (Mr. chocolate bar) and co-pilot and the great rapport between them. The amount of knowledge and terminology is bewildering (of course it's learnt over many months/flight hours of training). It still amazes me how these beasts fly (I know the physics) and so safely. Must be a strange feeling sitting in the cockpit knowing you are in control of huge flying metal tube - but I guess that wears off.

i am very impressed with the pilots, so much training and precision and knowledge fly such a machine. my respect to these pilots. very wonderful

Sometimes i see that their have "bad attitude" in the cockpit. Maybe Jurgen is too much boss and angel of the hat is too steep. Remember what happened in the Teneriffa 1977-...
